Professor and Author Dr. Charles Gage Van Riper, wrote the story in 1978 and American Village Development developed it in 2001. Wooded, rolling landscape embodied by 89 single family homesites in the heart of the City of Portage. 25 acres of greenspace and recreational trail complimented by traditional architectural appeal in honor of Dr. Van Riper's "Old House."
